Man there's so much that can be done with Civil War. I just hope they don't go down the comic route and just turn it into fight between cap and iron man. I really hope that it will affect the the future MCU titles in a way.

I don't think so. They confirmed that it will be more about the characters and less about political stuff. Apart from that, they already explored their ideologies in the first Iron Man and the two Cap sequels.

if it's anything like BvS it'll jump cut around and just show glimpses of other heros that aren't in the movie until finally they kill off captain america when thanos shows up at the last 20 minutes of the film after captain and ironman realize they shouldn't be fighting they're both superheros.

Well, what are their ideologies?
I haven't seen any of the films but I'd guess Iron Man is a quasi darwinist libertarian capitalist and Captain America some kind of radical nationalist.
