Honestly, I'd recommend it. The patch and nicotine gum is garbage, having tried both of them. It doesn't provide the same oral fixation (lmao) but let's be real, that's a huge part of smoking. I will warn you though that it's a slippery slope of buying vape gear. The key is not to let it become a defining feature of your life. You know how dude weed lmao pot smokers are annoying? People who become way to into muh vape culture are basically like that. I treat it as a perhaps healthier, less expensive (again, depending on how into it you get) and less stinky way of ingesting nicotine. And as a final point it's not really a way to get off of needing nicotine, it's just a different way to provide yourself with the nicotine your body craves

Not every vaper is some inconsiderate, fedora tipping douche nozzle. I smoked for 23 years and started vaping this past year and didn't touch a cig after, not even once. I am thankful for them but I don't vape inside public places or even near the front door. But I was a courteous smoker too. Douches are gonna be douches no matter what.

I vape, but not in public. I ask people at their houses if I can vape inside and if not I have no problem doing it outside, or not at al. Helped me quit smoking after 6+ years.
