This will be Marty's first personal project since 1988. Who here is hype?
Anyone over the age of 25 shouldn't be allowed to post on 4chan tbhonest

Spiderman, Sad Spaceman and Taken reenact a book, yeah, personal. Thrilling.
>>68266776
I'd prefer adults making threads then some teen making the thousandth marvel/dc thread

Post top 5 directors

I guess I am about as hype as I could be. I like movies about Christians in other countries facing the perspective of an outsider.
Did anybody read the book? I liked it quite a bit. Pretty short too.
>pro christianity
>anti-POC
it will be lambasted
>>68267667
I don't think anybody on /tv/ reads books.
>>68267714
Your persecution complex is imaginary. Everybody will love it.
>>68266776
I think the under-25 crowd will like this because this flick is very similar to BvS with the Christianity stuff.
I looked up the cast, and now I am more hype.
>the guy from ichi the killer
>daniel day lewis
>liam neeson
>ciaran hinds
It also has Adam Driver, but I've never seen him in anything, and don't have an opinion.

Daniel Day Lewis isn't in it.
>>68268248
I realized that as soon as I posted it. Still, pretty good cast!
>>68268096
>not knowing based tsukamoto
>>68267747
Not other anon but I come from Lebanon and persecution isn't a "complex" or whatever psychobabble you want to call it.
>>68266898
>Spiderman
>Get excited
>Check
>Andrew Garfield
Always looking forward to more Jesuitkino desu

>This will be Marty's first personal project since 1988
What the fuck are you talking about?
>Goodfellas
>The Age of Innocence
>Casino
>Gangs of New York
>Hugo
>not personal project

Those were all for the money.

Give me a break. I don't know what the situation is of Christians in Lebanon, but there is no persecution of Christians in the USA. I'm Orthodox, and I'm constantly baffled at how victimized other Christians in the USA feel.
>>68268327
I've heard of that. Never seen it though. Any good?
>>68268493
one of my favorite moviesletterbox guys might recognize me by now
>>68268534
I'll snag a copy. Wiki describes it as "cyberpunk horror," which I think is interesting. I don't want to read too much of the description for spoilers.
It takes place after Shakespeare's death, so they can't work in the Armada plot of 1597 or the threat of the Dominicans at Blackfriars Gatehouse...
Are these characters essentially conversos 140 years later? I haven't read the book obviously.
who hype to see Shinya Tsukamoto aka the director of Tetsuo The Iron Man acting in this
>>68268493
>there is no persecution of Christians in the USA.
I'm as atheist as you can get, and even I see how the ONLY religious people in the states that are NEVER defended are the ChristJews.
Anybody that shits on OriginalJews, or MuslimJews, or Buddhists, or anything else is attacked as an "intolerant racist", while they are applauded for shitting on ChristJews.
>>68267667
i read it in under 24hrs. absolutely captivating, and it sticks with me after years.
i'm not scorsese's biggest fan (i think he's spielberg-tier most of the time), so i'm wary of this adaptation. as cliché as it is, malick would do it better.
>>68268563
cool
>>68266776
You fucks born in the mid to late 90's are the cancer not only killing this site but the entire country. I know this is tossed around a lot but seriously kill yourself nigger.
>>68268824
>le wrong generation :C :C :C
desu senpai, with longer, wilder hair and a good amount of dirt and roughness, this guy perfectly screams "i will betray you for my own complex reasons, some of which are christ-like".
>>68268661
I have never seen very much public "shitting" on Christianity here. Sure, you get Bill Maher making stuff like Religulous or whatever. But who cares? This isn't the sort of systematized persecution I think of. It's just a harsh criticism of the religion.
The USA's population is vast majority Christian. I would guess that >95% of legislators are Christian. I have never felt persecuted in my life. I'm not triggered when someone says "Happy Holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas." Is that the sort of "persecution" you're talking about?
>>68269404
Incidentally, the lack of "Christian struggle" for lack of a better term, is why I'm pretty hyped about the movie. It just feels so easy to be a Christian in the USA, compared to what early believers/Christ went through. That's probably why I like books/movies like Silence and Calvary.
>>68269404
>would guess that >95% of legislators are Christian.
Your focus determines your reality, anon.
>>68269404
i agree with you that christians aren't really persecuted in america, but on that same token, would you agree with me that nobody else is persecuted as well?
