Honestly I seriously wish one of these companies would make a fucking animated Seussical movie already

I'm biased though since I was in a couple productions of it.

Considering there hasn't been a decent Grinch adaption since the one with Boris Karloff, I'm okay with this. It might be alright, or it might be utter shit, who cares. If it's the latter I can just keep watching the old one with the nephews at Christmas and everyone will forget this existed.

I hope it's a straight adaptation of the cartoon so I'll only have to sit through it for 20 minutes.

The only real impressive thing about the Howard Grinch film is how they did a bang up job adapting the character into live action, the prosthetics on Carrey are something else and incredibly emotive
