>gandolfini
Was he any good in this? There was a thread earlier today where a guy posted him as an example of actors who'd never been in good films.

it's Gandolfini being Gandolfini. Nothing extraordinary
>>68199543
you literally didn't get it. It's not about the porn
How's the sequel?
>>68199547

>characters walk into an underground den full of S&M sickos
>"yeah man they got the sickest shit right here. Foot fetish, shemales, orgies, it's all harder than hardcore"

A movie about some forbidden video/secret has promise. This, was not however, realized in the execution of the movie. A movie like Girl w/Dragon Tattoo is magnitudes better for example.

I certainly hope you didn't mean the American version because I saw that recently and I seriously think it's FIncher's worst film
another gem

Exactly it makes no sense in the modern era where porn is literally mainstream.
is Cage the most meta actor?
There are good actors
There are bad actors
There are actors who are so bad they're good
And then there's Cage who's mostly bad but sometimes good in the same movie and so you have to watch it for the good parts and when there are bad parts you're like "eh, it's Cage, it's never THAT bad". But it sometimes IS that bad but it's almost like Cage is looking into the camera and saying "look bro. I know it's bad. But it's me. You know me. Keep watching"
>>68200054
I did. It's better than this movie. Pleb signing off.
>>68200191
Yes there is something amazing about his performances. Check out The Trust for maximum meta Cage.

Another one Ebert liked. That audience score pisses me off.

>no good movies
In The Loop
The Man Who Wasn't There
Crimson Tide
8mm
any more?

This is one of those where Cage's acting was just atrocious. It ruined the film.
