I don't think it's plausible though. The ashes scene alone sorta disproves the theory, they're not gonna pay $3000 (their most modestly priced receptacle) to bury a figment of Walter's Imagination.
Compare that to Inherent Vice on the other hand. Sortilege definitely could be considered a figment of Doc's imagination, since no one else in the movie interacts with her and she's only mentioned in passing by Shasta.

Sortilege's definitively an allucination- check the shots when Doc's going to the massage parlor. In one shot she's sitting in the passenger's seat next to Doc, but when they stop talking and the shot changes angle Doc's alone in the car, and nothing points to him having dropped her off anywhere.
