Sorta but not really. Han and Leia is different in the fact that at its core they shared similar ideals and personality traits from the beginning. They also came to trust each other pretty quickly. Similar ideals and trust are two essential building blocks to any lasting healthy relationship.
Han and Leia also both remained pretty much the same basic person after they got together as well.
Not only did Luke and Mara have different ideals at the start of the relationship, but the trust between them took a lot longer to establish. Also Mara became a much different person as well. Sure I can dig the character development and the whole "changing for love" angle, but it was forced as fuck and a much better/natural relationship between Luke and Callista was sunk because the hordes of virgin teenagers with the same cuck fantasies of molding their perfect waifu screamed and cried for Luke/Mara to become canon.
This is why I by and large fucking hate most fantasy/sci-fi relationships. They're written primarily by fat ugly nerds who don't understand a thing about the basic chemistry needed for a relationship to be successful.
