Not really sure, the quick-cuts of the trailer make it look like she fires it and suddenly 12 stormtroopers are thrown from an explosion. Obviously those scenes are not connected, or something else transpires that causes an explosion (unless she shoots a red barrel).

How come the main character is another pasty white girl? Disney is racist and transphobic. It's 2016, it should be a proud transwoman of color because of all those poor children who have to grow up and be told by the media that they aren't good enough to be represented in big blockbuster films. I am very disappointed, Disney has made good advances in diversity and tolerance in recent years but it isn't nearly enough, especially considering all the trans suicides that will happen this year. I know we will eventually have enought acceptance for Disney to write proud trans leads in their movies but it still hurts that it probably won't happen soon.
