I'm willing to give the show a chance to see how it grows, but I agree that the first "season" if you can even call it that is extremely underwhelming.
The second season looks worse so far though, I mean at least the first season had the societal breakdown angle going for it, but S2 looks really generic and boring.

I'm certain there is enough money in the zombie market for a show like this to work*. Maybe Netflix could buy it from whoever owns TWD and run it.

They had some big plans when you think about it. Corralling hundreds of them to lay traps is pretty genius when you think about it, only Rick's group has used the walkers anywhere near as smart.
