season 2 is GOAT followed closely by 3. season 5 characters started getting stale, characters got really stale in 6 but they wrapped up everyones story nicely and it reminded me of why i liked the characters (except april and that unnecessary angry gay dude, wtf was he even introduced fuckin poochy ass motherfucker) and season 7 wth it was in the future or whatever? did they get caught off guard when they were renewed again or what?

Really loved the first 3 seasons, probably more than The Office, but then it just degenerates into the new "Friends" so humorless redditors could meme over it. It was a slow degeneration, to be sure, but just starts falling off one piece at a time for the sake of idealistic character development and forced feels.
