My mother used VHS tapes to record shows no shit until just a couple years ago.
She had like 5 of them set to record on 5 different TVs.
We've never been a rich family so she didn't have the money for DVR. WE'd frequently buy out the blank tapes Wal-mart still stocked for whatever reason.
