Yep, beautiful fucking imagery, ecstatically romantic with a innocent, almost ancient view on love, childlike light moments bring this extra comforting feeling that makes the darker moments that extra hard.
Once Upon a Dream makes my heart melt, Maleficent is a fantastic, proper villain that brings this massive weight with her, she feels like danger and evil personified.
It's one of those simple, classic fucking timeless story done really well.
On another note, Maleficent was a crime to storytelling, fuck that movie fucking seriously it had none of the heart or substance of the original, fucking goddamn FUCK
