the people that post here regularly don't come here to post genuine opinions
they come here because they have miserable lives that revolve around passively consuming media so naturally they try to feel good about themselves with respect to the only thing they have in life (tv) by trying their hardest to make anyone that wanders into their comfort zone feel as bad as possible for liking 'LE PLEB MEME SHOWS XD MEME' because they've never been required to do (or create) anything significant (or anything at all, for that matter) in their lives and therefore lack any appreciation whatsoever for the hard work that talented people put into creating said media
still, in order to retain some credibility they have to at least pretend to like some shows, so they choose the ones that they knew the fewest number of people would have actually seen
this is coming from someone trying to be a neutral observer, i've watched nothing but a few episodes of game of thrones and the first season of true detective in the past five years. i find it hard to concentrate on tv because it isn't interactive, i prefer exercise, work and video games
