I'm 10 min into this movie.
It seems scripted and poorly done, does anyone else get this vibe?
Characters are spitting their lines out and this storm trooper with blood on his helmet was jitterbugging around like a monkey, what is that even suppose to tell me?

The first 30 min or so of the movie was the best and it all goes downhill once Rey finds the Millenium Falcon
I liked it.

The movie is face paced until they get to Maz castle. Then it picks up again. They filmed the Jakku stuff first to the acting is a little stiff. Daisy gets better as the movie progresses.

Boyega has one of the better characters in the movie. TFA is nothing special though; the movie was decently executed and has some flaws. Overall though I enjoyed the movie, but don't love it.

They offered to let him direct the rest and he declined. I suspect that he got halfway through production and either realized that he had no idea what to do with Star Wars post RotJ or Disney shot down any idea that they deemed too radical, and decided to just remake ANH and jump ship before Disney ran the series into the ground.

You can definitely feel it was rushed - the basically had two months to do the script and then submit to The Mouse for approval as it wanted to movie to be released in May 2015 (later pushed to December).
