How hard will /tv/ shit their pants when this becomes succesful?
why would it

Does /tv/ think this will flop?
>>67909061
Only some retarded capecucks
>>67909045
>doesn't even know the difference between thread and post
Is Disney that desperate that can't even hire 4chan shills and just hires you all of you from reddit?
>>67909257
...are you literally retarded?
>>67908708
Only this guy will blow his brains out. Posts in every WC thread with these images, pretty hilarious. The amount of autism is cringe. Always the first or third poster.
>>67909563
I have never seen such a butthurt poster.
Noshillman the caped crusader, taking down one "shill" at a time. Hue hue
>>67909061
Just one samefag who posts the same shit cuz he probably wasted years of his life on WoW and can't afford a subscription anymore and hates Activision eventhough the film isn't based on WoW.
>>67908733
>>67909061
It will do about as well as every other vidya movie.
>>67909257

Lmao, I bet you did the same shit for TFA and forgot you moved onto Warcraft for a second.
>>67909061
Nah, china alone will bank 150 mil. They love this thing
Incoming 404
>>67910368
It will easily be the highest grossing vidya movie, easily.
>>67910494
Nope, it's going to flop pretty hard.
>>67910406
Sure they do, shill.
>>67910511
>>67908733
Oh my.
I'll go see it, I doubt it'll be great or break any records though. They should have done it completely live action instead of whatever this shit is called

Is the armor CGI?
Why does the shill boogeyman exist only in non-capeshit threads?
>>67910551
You caught me, getting paid 0.2 cents an hour. Now what?
>>67910602
Because capeshit doesn't need to be shilled.
BvS made 500 million in one week based on name alone.
>>67910551
>>67910584
Nope, it's metal. It's just how clean armor looks and you're too used to aged armor from other movies.
>>67908634
whites dying at the by big green men people will love it.
>>67910644
You got a point i guess.
Alsochecked
I've already seen it at a screening and I don't believe it will do well to those that don't know warcraft lore. I enjoyed it, but it felt b-tier when compared to something like lord of the rings. It's probably one of the better video game movies to date though.
>>67910751
Fake. Pretty obviously too.
>>67910718
>>67910759
It really sucked that badly wasting your life on WoW?

Don't worry, It wont.
>>67910759
>>67910718
fuck of shill
>>67910785
Ask me anything about the movie.
>>67910791
It's a book adaption. The game barely had any story to make a movie out of it.
>>67910793
>>67910786
>>67910802
fuck off shills
>>67910759
For you.
>>67909061
I bet my money that it will flop. At least as much as all other film adaptions of video games did.
I don't even know when or if it will come out in my country. Haven't seen any advertisment outside of /tv/
>>67910751
>The same dude in every warcraft thread claiming he saw the screening without providing proof.
I was wondering where you were.
>>67910802How does Khadgar die?
>>67910785
This movie has been screened in many locations.
>>67910873
he doesn't.
He takes on medivh after he gets corrupted by the fel.
>>67910839
>comparing pic related with Duncan Jones
>>67910879
And nobody who ever claims to have seen it uploads proof.
>>67910751
It wasn't comparable to LOTR and I wasn't trying to compare it to that when I saw it but it's definitely gorier and has a shit load more magic. It's definitely fun. B movie tier yeah, but I love B movies anyway. The action was great, story was good.
>>67910923
Yeah, Boll has actual experience.
>>67910839
Do you have the balls to actually bet money? Because if so we'll set something up. Keep in mind I've been following the making of this movie closely for years so I have a pretty informed idea where it's headed and what it's potential is but if you're that confident let's make a deal.
>>67910914
Thanks for confirming you're fake. Should have kept your answer short instead of giving it away so easily.
>>67910924
Not that guy, but I saw it and uploaded proof in another thread thatgot deleted
>>67910879
I know it has, my friend and his wife have seen it. But this guy in particular is fake.
>>67910584
nah just terrible design.
>>67911024
My wife's son liked it too.
>>67910924
What proof would I have?
They made me sign 2 nda documents and gave me some shitty red raffle type ticket before letting me in. They wouldn't let us bring our phones in, so I just left it in the car. The screening wasn't even named, they just said you had to be a "gamer" to get in. It was pretty easy to determine what movie it was. They also used the name "Conflagrate" as the movie title while I was in line, and it said it was by legendary pictures. At that point it was obivous.
>>67910996
lol. What? do you want me to add that lothar fights the golem while khadgar tries to interrupt medivh keeping the dark portal open?
>>67911024
>my friend and his wife
>read my wife and her boyfriend
>>67911051
The design is okay, problem it is too shiny and clear and that looks weird to the eye. I guess they are trying to make a point on how they haven't been at war for a long period of time.
>>67910839
i'll the the bet, it's marketed like fucking BvS here in spain

>>67911306
Pero si en elpais pone que la campaña empieza en mayo.
>>67911079
>>67910996
To add, here is about the only proof i would have and that's how they marketed the screener to people me.
>>67910956
No I wouldn't bet money, but of the people I know literally nobody knows or gives a fuck about warcraft lore. Also I generally don't trust films that rely heavily on CGI. Especially the Hobbit has shown that even with modern technology it often appears unrealistic or out of place.
Also the story isn't something special. Two enemies have to find a way to work together to survive isn't new as a thematic.
All together it will be a rather medicore film, I suppose. I don't know if the Anons that say that it has a huge fanbase in China are right, but I don't expect it to be succesfull.
>>67911384
Welcome to your first shill thread.
>>67911345
Thats not what I was replying to, read the reply links nub.
>>67911426
I did actually. You replied to me...saying I was fake. I saw the movie. I don't know what you think I may have gotten wrong, but I've definitely seen it. The last thing we see at the end of the movie is baby thrall (never named in the movie) growling at the audience.
>this clusterfuck of a thread
>>67908634
Not at all. The only place I ever hear about this movie is here and I'm already sick of it. I won't watch it, won't spend money to see it, won't read reviews beyond the headlines. And if vidyashit starts to take over this board, I'll finally be able to leave this place in peace
>>67911115
I'm from Germany. BvS was advertised everywhere, but you barely find anything about Warcraft.
>>67911563
This doesn't have box office potential.
It's a videogame movie, it's stigma alone is it's doom.
>>67908634
I hope its succesful so we get another wave of high budget fantasy movie adaptions like what happened after the lotr trilogy.
>>67911597
I tried speaking him in Spanish, all he replied was ''Madrid'', I doubt he has ever been in spain.
>>67911607
I hope not because it looks like garbage.
Trash should flop, we already have enough with capeshit.
>>67911563
The hobbit was a success because it pulled the massive amount of LotR fans. Warcraft has nowhere near that potential.
>>67911581
And this is somehow not supposed to show your incredible bias and inability to be objective? When you make that very clear it's very easy to see that everything else you say is a personal agenda and has no credibility.
>>67911685
Why would anyone care about any of that?
This movie deserves to flop for the well-being of the industry.
>>67911597
BvS already came out, Warcraft is 2 fucking months away. Do you know how advertisement works?
Besides it's pretty unrealistic to expect every movie to have that level of advertisement, BvS was one of the most advertised movies ever.
>>67911802
The ''spanish'' dude says they are doing that in Spain, which is false because here in Bilbao there's not even cardboards of the movie.
>>67911675
>massive amount of Warcraft fans
It sure does. It also doesn't need to make anywhere near 1 billion to be successful if we even consider your argument so you need to reevaluate what a box office bomb is.
>>67911913
Problem is you are asuming the fanbase even cares about this movie.
>>67911685
I mean, if it gets good reviews from people I trust, I'll pirate it at give it a try, but I know in my heart of hearts this one is a turd.
The trailers look bad, I don't care about the story, I find the over the top CGI distracting and just because I like Warcraft 3 doesn't mean I think it will translate well, or at all, into a movie
and yes, I honestly believe the death of vidyashit and capetrash will be good for the film industry
>>67911949
Problem is you're assuming it doesn't.
Why are people defending a videogame movie?
>>67908865
well?
>>67911971
It does?
Where are they?
>>67911978
Everywhere.
>>67911971
Well how many people who play WoW care for the story and how many just rush, raid, farm and grind through everything to get the rarest and most shiny piece of gear?
>>67912005
the wow fanbase that still loves wow and is still subbed to wow? the fanbase that loves buying every single piece of shit on the cash shop? the fanbase that buys multiple wow tokens every month so they can buy ingame stuff? the fanbase that preordered the collectors edition of legion the second it came out on the store?
theyre totally not gonna see the movie
I honestly hope it does well financially, even if it's shit. I think the sequels can be improved and by the time they get to Arthas' story, the film crew should be competent enough to make a good movie. Besides, it's got fucking based Ragnar playing a character in one of my favourite vidya.

Man you guys seem triggered. I'm not a shill, just a big fan of Warcraft 3 so yes I hope it does well so that they can get to that story. This is our only chance to try and get there. If this movie bombs, nobody will ever try again in the future and we'll never get to see that storyline on the big screen. Sounds like you guys never played Warcraft in its golden age.

>>67912399
Yes but international marketing also costs a lot of money. And they want to start a cinema universe on the base of this film.
In so far it's pretty bad for them that the high ticket sell dropped hard after the first weekend and that they are getting bad critics.
It's coming boys

Source Code was GOAT. Only thing it suffered from was the soundtrack, which Clint Mansell was supposed to score(he did the score for moon), then they had some guy come to replace him at the last minute. Other than it's a great film. Would've been better with Clint... there's even music he made already for it. Rumor is producers didn't like his soundtrack.
