It took me a long time to talk my girlfriend into watching the trilogy. Shes not the type of person who enjoys movies like this. And I insisted if we were to watch it it would be the extended cuts, so around 10+ hours in total.
Finally, I told her to just watch the first hour and see how she likes it, and we finished the trilogy in 3 days and she adores them now.
That is the power of these movies.
