So what did you think of The Hateful Eight?

It was good I liked it just two things, the fucking stupid ass 5 minute intro on the statue was pissing me off and I wish they could have somehow mentioned the entire movie takes place in only the cabin so I knew what I was getting into
>>

I enjoyed it, but I didn't like Tarantino's VO after the intermission to "refresh" us on the situation.

That and when I saw it there were only seats in the front two rows so my neck was killing me.

DINGUS

Pretty good. Much better than Django.

It's your standard Tarantula movie.

It is pretty well made and acted, but it kinda lacks any suprising elements and there are a lot of tropes that you have seen before in his other movies.
>>
It was meh. Like a castrated Django.
>>
>>67861272
I wish I had seen it in the theaters.
>>
I'm watching it now - I'll tell you how I felt in a bit.

I do like this smiling whore though. I want to fuck her.

A good 20% of the film takes place in the coach.

I saw it three times at the theater and it was so cool. Loved hearing the audience whisper and murmur when the next "chapter" would start.

>It's your standard Tarantula movie.

Not really.

The film was great, probably tarantinos best, and im not kidding.

It's the first time that i see that tarantino tried to do something original and uncompromised.

Very slow beginning with a standard verging on nice resolution. It felt a bit too over-explanatory with the way the self-proclaimed sheriff and SLJ were digging at each other's history but at least it served to bury the idea of who the 'villain' would be better.

Yeah, I was seriously surprised that he pulled this off just after making Django. You had some amazing dialogue and (imo) a fantastic third act to pay it all off.

"That's why this chapter's called "Domergue's Got A Secret."

I fucking lot it there, people seem to keep getting bigger and bigger rods up their ass whenever Tarantino fucks around in his films, THEY'RE HIS FILMS! GODDAMMIT!

Chill out quentin

The payoff was pretty underwhelming. I was expecting everybody to play a different angle and that the mix-up would eventually lead to a bloodbath.
Instead, all the guys in the cabin (+ one extra guy under the floor) were in on the same plan. What the hell? Why didn't they jump the bountyhunters before then?

Sure, they say "We've got a few nights, don't be hasty" but then one guy poisons the coffee and it all goes to shit anyway.

Also, the movie was really stretching itself to keep Domergue alive for the finale. With Kurt Russell dead she should've been dead meat - Sam Jackson even says so but then it plays out for a little longer and suddenly he's like naw, she's gotta hang.

Oh, and the 70 mm showing was pretty neat (the cabin scenes looked great) but the extra 17 minutes of snowy mountain shots added nothing. If you want scenery porn, watch The Revenant.
>>
>You only need to hang mean bastards mean bastards you need to hang
What did he mean by this
>>
I swear this movie was giving me creeping flashbacks to "The Thing" but hearing maccready say "one of us aint what they say he is" solidifies it

this better be good.
>>
>>67863269
Pretty sure Tarantino made them watch that movie while filming THE.
>>
>>67863269
Not to get your hopes up, but this movie is everything I wanted it to be.
>>
It was good until the poisoning kicked in with comedy-tier blood spewing. Suddenly, I went from watching a good movie to watching something assembled by a hack who just can't help himself when given a chance to spew animu memes.
