Just finished Inferno
Holy fucking Henry, episode 6 was amazing. Everything was so tense and dark and hopeless, I loved every second of it.
Pertwee's first season goes from strength to strength. A few pacing issues - they could have had another story in the season and divied up the episodes accordingly to prevent 7 parters, but all in all a terrific season.

It's all technically the same show, it wasn't rebooted or anything. The guy who the Classic series ended with was the 7th doctor, then there was a TV movie featuring the 8th doctor during the time the show was cancelled, and when the show came back in 2005 it was the 9th Doctor.
The new seasons are much more palatable for the general public than the classic series. Watch the new one, and if you get hooked and want more after watching it all, go for classic Who.

Interesting thing about that, the S8 workprints used TDK music as its backdrop for a lot of Twelve's scenes.
I think one of the things the Doctor should be is "sellable to kids". Moffat has a better understanding of how his character works than most would. He just lets his waifuism and fanfiction tendencies get in the way.

A lot of these are not based on conjecture - We've seen Rose's, Amy's, Clara's, Martha's, and River's in various media. Only Osgood and Donna are up in the air at this point. That being said, I may be wrong about the order on the five we have seen. Edits are welcome if proof is provided.
The first episode of series 10 is going to be the same as series 9, with the Paternoster gang this time instead of UNIT and the Missy as the villain.

Hell Bent has to be one of the most cringe tier episodes in Who history especially the general's regeneration. The ending was ok though.
If they had spent more time on Gallifrey they'd probably bork it up and make the TLs boring as hell again but I prefer the Doctor as an underdog rather than all powerful TL savant.
