he also hated his dad, which played into him hating supes but it shows most of all in how he treats his company. bruce wayne's whole deal is that his company is his parents' legacy so it really fucking hurt when supes\zod destroyed that wayne tower and killed those employees; what does it say about lex that he exploits his dad's company, getting his "family" killed for his own ends (up to and including mercy graves), and then implicates it in creating a gigantic living doomsday weapon?
all the while, he acted like a master ruseman when it was clear to everyone in the movie that the guy was just a massive weirdo tool. remember the scene at the party where he gives a speech and tries to sound smart, but can only prattle on inanely namedropping greek gods and such?
