Just because something is lauded by progressives, and just because said progressives may be obnoxious individuals, does not mean the thing they're lauding is progressive and bad.
Zootopia's ultimate conclusions are that, despite the truth often found in stereotypes, prejudice and segregation is the wrong way to go about helping anyone. This message is neither in direct accordance with internet-progressive standards (as it admits how some stereotypes are right, and also that the disenfranchised themselves can be the villain i.e. Bellweather), or with the internet right wing (as it takes an obvious stance against prejudice). Its message isn't easily categorizable into straightforward political affiliations.
You also have to understand that internet progressives latch onto literally everything they kind of like and try to justify how much they like it based on how its messages line up with theirs. Remember Mad Max: Fury Road and The Witch? Both were great movies, but progressives have this thing where they feel a movie needs to agree with them to be good, so they make up this narrative about how the movie is aligned with their political beliefs to make themselves feel better about liking them.
That's why there are so many articles about how so-and-so popular movie is secretly feminist, or anti-racist, or whatever.
