Doomsday is one of the worst comic book "villains" in history. He's just there to kill Superman, nothing else.
I liked how vicious he was. If he was a Marvel villain he would've just stood around quipping for 10 minutes. Instead they actually wrote him to be a beast.

Her inclusion into the film was definitely an afterthought but she didn't really help or hurt it, she was just kind of there. Could they have developed her character more and given her a more substantive role? Definitely, but I think she was one of the least of the film's many problems.
