Good taste my dude
>>67771448
He was good in a few scenes maybe.
this character was a mistake
>>67771364
She's good as Daenerys. She was shit as Sarah Connor.
And thank fuck they decided not to cast their first choice for Daenerys, Emilia is a lot easier on the eyes.
>>67771428
This. Can't act for shit.

RIP Stannis ;_;7
>>67771506
>>67772074
>>67772002
these and Tyrion and Ned Stark only good actors in the show
Tbf, the show is generally well acted. There's really only a few ropey cast members that struggle to act. Unfortunately, they really stand out. Like a stinking turd atop a heap of diamonds.
>>67772150
oh and early seasons Little Finger. the last two seasons he hasn't been the same

Big battle towards the end of the season, Ramsay vs Jon
You can even see Jon in the S6 trailer
>>67772278
Is Roose really a good actor? He's hardly in the fucking show.
>>67772369
She looks like she could carry her young in her throat sack
>>67773089
I believe you bro, it would be pretty cool, I want to see Ramsay get killed.

>>67773507
That doesn't make her acting any better, Mr. White Knight
>>67772950
She's pretty enough. But her eyebrows are like Nathan Lane's, and her red carpet style is appalling.
>>67772278
>Stannis
>Stephen Dillane admits he didn't give a fuck about the show, he didn't watch it or read the books, and never even really understood it
>Still gives a fucking great performance with hack writing to boot.
Imagine how great Stannis could have been...
>>67773507
I feel bad for her too. Such a mean, petty society we have.
But oddly, at the same time, we're extremely sanctimonious about certain things.
>>67773320
Michelle Fairley was a fantastic performance, tbqh
>>67773320
I've seen Michael McElhatton in other things. He's decent.
>>67773648
But it doesn't fool you, huh? No, you're the only one smart enough to see the way things really are, aren't you? Moron
>>67773607
same anon her, I didnt mean people who say she is a bad actress, I meant those who say about her "hurr durr fivehead fat ugly tired blah blah looked better at 15 etc.." Sophie Turner wouldnt even piss on people like this in real life, and they sit there with cheetos in their neckbeards and mountain dew stains on their wifebeaters and calling her ugly
>>67773089
hmm a show where men have long hair and women have short hair
yes only jon has long hair
>>67773722
That's an odd thing to take personally and get upset about, seeing that it's self apparent
>>67773744

All Goddess-tier classy beauties. Who does USA have JFat and her butthole?
I wonder how desperate the younger actors on this show are to have a career beyond GoT. Kit was in that HBO tennis comedy thing that was pretty funny. Sophie is in X-Men. I think a few said they won't act after the show ends.
High Sparrow and Margery's grandmother are the best ones that get screentime
>>67773024
Flashback to what. We've watched his entire adult life on screen.
>>67774049

>>67774025
Sigourney Weaver was pretty fantastic back in the day, and even into modern times tbqh
>>67774158
Very true. He killed that role. I personally thought Richard Madden was breddy good too. I dunno what else he's been doing besides Cinderella and Castlevania. If he was maybe a little taller he'd be a great Bond

Stephen Dillane is a great actor. In John Adams (HBO) It's a pleasure to watch him because his co-actors are great and the writing is great.
Game of Thrones is a weird show in that it is full of GREAT actors and absolutely SHIT actors
>>67774335
She was hardly an important actor. The girl they replaced with for Myrcella was good, though.
>>67774025
Yes, but only three on that list can actually act and there's a big question mark over one of them.

This pic triggers me so hard. Famke was my waifu for much of the late-90s and early 00s. This dishonours her.

And for some reason all the shit actors are fan favorites who are immune to perma-death while the best actors all die.
>>67774295
Robb didn't have a POV in the books, though. I believe the Fat Man has mentioned that he actually regrets not giving Robb at least one chapter of his own. He's a pretty interesting character, and Madden did great with what he had. Everything I didn't like about his character wasn't his fault, it was Dumb and Dumber

It's because all the teenage fangirls identify with Sansa and festishize Jon. It reels in the big bucks tho so D&D aren't about to stop it.
>>67774456
>he actually regrets not giving Robb at least one chapter of his own
yes that's what ASoIaF needs, more POVs
>>67774582
tbqh I'd rather he get a POV then some other people
>>67774445
I think it's because the good actors don't want to get tied up in a TV series.
Sean Bean knew full well he was only doing one season. He's not a TV actor.
>>67774582

peter dinklage was good in season 1, he's been terrible ever since. he felt very natural in s1, now everything he does feels very forced and it's like he's playing a caricature of his own character, if that makes any sense.
>>67774839
probably because his character became a caricature after season 3
also D&D really began shoehorning in their own bullshit after season 1.
>>67774651
Bean wants to return. He's said in interviews he wished his character could come back.
>>67774889

Irish actors are best in the show.
>>67771506
I don't find him that convincing as an actor. His character is fairly well written for the series. I'll give him that. But considering that the whole schtick of Varys for most of the series is that he is an enigma I feel anyone could have played him anyway they wanted to and it would still have felt convincing.
Charles Dance on the other hand did an excellent job as Tywin. Especially considering that he never read the books, yet he nailed the role.
>>67775166
It's not his fault the dumbed down the character. I'm a fan of his since before GoT. He's talented. And his scenes with Ned in the Gaol were great.
she's not the worst, but lena headey is very one-note as cersei. the only thing lena headey does well is cersei being sarcastic and mean, that's pretty much it. lena just doesn't have the range to show any of the complexities of cersei. it's really obvious in any scene involving cersei being vulnerable.

My sister's favourite character is Tywin. I don't know if you get off to thinking your better than other people due to the media you consume and how you think about it but you seem like a neckbeard.
>>67781108
Nigga you retarded?
"Prince Rhaegar was tall and handsome, having dark indigo eyes and the silver hair of the Targaryens, worn long. Many say that Rhaegar was beautiful. Rhaegar was exceedingly intelligent and excelled at anything he put his mind to. He was considered to be a talented musician and skilled knight. While well-loved by the people, Rhaegar was said to be quiet, private and bookish. He was deeply affected by 'the shadow of Summerhall', because he was 'born in grief' and was considered melancholic at times."
That sounds more than a bit twinkish

>>67780335
I think it's more the way Cersei is written in the show. They try to make her WAY more likable than she is in the books for example instead of having her have the goldcloaks murder all of Robert's bastards they have Joffery do it. I believe (it's been a little while since I read ACOK/ASOS) that she may have had Mandon Moore attempt to kill Tyrion etc.
>>67781130
That would be Stannis actually.I cried during that "You are the Princess Shireen of House Baratheon", and my gf told me "of course u would cry, i dk y u love him" I have never a female fan of Stannis. females cannot wrap their mind around the idea that a man can continue to stubbornly fight to the bitter end rather than just give up his rights. He might be better than other people in certain respects. Probably is in regards to judging characters fairly and without being a hypocrite.
A huge portion of fans love Drogo for instance, despite the fact that he and his khalasar have engaged in countless rapes and murder men, women, and children.
On the flip side, plenty of those same fans hate Jaime for pushing Bran and hate Tywin for what happened to Tysha.
