Is there any good youtube channel about cinema? I'm looking for something more instructional instead of "10 things you might have missed in the fifth trailer of this superhero movie". It doesnt have to be a super deep analysis either. Something like those Every Frame a Painting videos is good enough. Pic not related, obviously.

Not rlm
Honest Trailers is pretty funny.

Yeah, it is, but I'm looking for a "hey, here's some examples of good parallel editing and here's some examples of bad parallel editing, see the difference"? As I said, something more didactic than entertaining.

Rob Ager's videos are pretty interesting. He's the guy who purported that Childs from The Thing(1982) was actually...y'know...The Thing in the end. You see those threads all the time.
Hello.

Every Frame a Painting is a complete waste of time. I don't understand how that guy's channel got so popular.

It's really not. Unless you're 12-16.

Why's that? He's pointing out the obvious in a way that plebs can understand.

I'll check those out. Thanks.

I think they're hit or miss. Mostly hit. I do enjoy their lists because they elaborate about what the subject in question is trying to convey instead of just saying "this is number one because is in the top 10 movies on imbd"
