Quality wise Warcraft will be a better movie to watch/enjoy because Jones is based. Box office Civil War of course, not even a contest.

Warcraft will be the vidya equivalent of a Marvel flick. It won't be great but it will be popular and probably appease critics and fanboys, despite being artistically shallow. Maybe a few years down the road someone will achieve vidyakino, but I'm not sure what game would lend itself best to that kind of adaptation.
