is nostalgia fetishization evidence of a dying civilization?
>full house
>back to the future happening
>x men
>and generally a nostalgia factor to almost everything in theatres
Shits been happening for decades.
Nostalgia is weak men wishing back to the times when they didn't have a burden of responsibility

people will miss the 2010's in the 2030s

No
Nostalgia is a cash grab by people who want money.

Yes. This is how all big civilizations fell. It's called Decadence. Soon our time will be over too. The muslims are coming. The muslims are coming.

Yeah the muslims control the media, the banks and super powers with wmd's.

Yes frogposter, people do tend to hang onto things past their use-by date. Sometimes those held things flat circle back around to being cool again, sometimes they are just pictures of frogs that are only cool in very specific circumstances..
You realize that the original Back to the Future was basically shameless nostalgia-fagging, right?
Anyways, this shit has been going on for years. For as long as mass media has been around there's been money in pandering to people's memories of the pop culture of their childhood years. And even before that, authors and storytellers were fascinated by the events of the past. Shakespeare, for instance, set an inordinate number of his plays in 15th century Italy rather than his own 16th century England.

fuck you anti jeremiad retard
It's gonna suck so fucking much in about 15 years when 2010's nostalgia is gonna kick in

i don't wanna think about what kind of situations would give someone nostalgia for the 2010s. kind of horrifying.
