A superhero goes rogue, but law enforcement obtain a kryptonite-like substance from a meteor that remove shis powers. The superhero then becomes a common criminal and works his way up to the head of a crime family over a period of 20 years. Then, an evil genius supervillain turns up, causing the ex-superhero crime boss to wage a gang war against him. The film ends with the ex-superhero being blown up by the evil genius' giant laser beam, but he's already called out a hit on the evil genius, who gets assassinated when walking to his car.
