My criteria is any movie that I am even willing to watch on basic cable when I need something in the background while doing other stuff. I find all of these movies not only watchable, but backgroundable, which may not seem like a bit endorsement but it means that they're so good and I have loved them so much that their presence is pretty much just a comfort without even any attention being needed

It's literally about togetherness, primarily togetherness of self, followed by togetherness of others through validation.
"Comfy" is about friendship between you and your consumed medium, and when you shared that comfort with others, it's about an unspoken bond between other anons.
