Meh
I liked it. It did a good job of showing how many grey areas existed in the conflict, filled with backstabbing and collaborating with the other side, etc. And despite the protagonist being a British soldier, it managed to keep the perspective fairly neutral. Plus that wee kid's performance was so fucking spot on it was hilarious
Made me think Ireland is a 3rd world country

I watched the entire thing thinking it was based on a true story. I'm British as well, which makes it even more embarrassing.

The escalating tension in the riot scene was amazing. The flat complex scene was also incredible, 10/10 in my book.

Higher HDI than the US and Britain though. Also a nice country to visit with tons of friendly people albeit higher prices than almost anywhere else for a tourist.
