I wish JJ had taken a page from Snyder's playbook. TFA was so fucking jarring. I would have loved an extra half hour or more to flesh Han, Leia, Kylo, Snoke, Hux, and the state of the galaxy out. It sounds like the studio interfered and forced him to cut the movie down. The theatrical edition has several scenes that are awkwardly edited while some subplots are undeveloped or non-nonsensical. There is a lot of potential in this film and I look forward to seeing it fulfilled.
