I'd recommend the Fourth Doctor Boxsets like The Novel Adaptations (The Romance of Crime, The English Way of Death and The Well-Mannered War), Philip Hinchcliffe Presents (The Ghosts of Gralstead and The Devil's Armada) and The Lost Stories (The Foe from the Future).
All of those are better than the monthly FDAs. On the plus side though, no stories in the 2017 series are by Briggs.

A little bit pissed off how Vorus was treated. The story constantly depicted him as the villain (bad tempered, egoistic, willing to kill the Doctor) but he did nothing wrong at all. He wanted his people not to live in fear, to live on the surface of their planet and to trade with other planets, which all seems pretty reasonable to me, considering the condition his people were in before this story. His actions saved the day, the rocket he prepared in secret destroyed the cybermen, his planet can finally live without fear and yet he was still killed by the good guys of the story, what the fuck.
