Pretty good IMO. Both "Worlds" sets are sort of samplers for serieses. The Jago & Litefoot and Counter-Measures episodes are the most representative, the UNIT Vault line hasn't really gone anywhere and the last episode is really Doctor Who and not Gallifrey.

This is a bad thing. Audiences can be very influential, especially a regressive one comprised of special snowflakes who sexually identify as everything in the kitchen sink.
Just take a look at what happened to Sherlock - a very solid series up until S3, when Moffat/Gatiss pandered to the tumblr landwhales and essentially tarnished it.
My prediction for Class:
-Main cast will be ethnic minorities

There's a project I've wanted to do for a while. I want to creat my own doctor Who game using RPGmaker, although it will be about story and puzzles rather than turn based combat. I'm just using it because it's user friendly.
I want to put the story first but the trouble is picking a good idea. I have it in my head to create my own monster and not rely on continuity. This might a problem I'm making for myself, since It means no Gallifrey or returning companions stories.
I have ideas for stories and enemies but I think the trouble is the ideas I have are too 'big' for what I'm trying to do. The ideas I have are for serials rather than a minisode.
here are few of the big ones, I might not abandon them completely.
THE LOVECRAFTIAN MENAGERIE
It's a highly secure building where they keep creatures which defy the rules of our universe, for monsters like The Boneless for example. the Doctor goes to drop off a creature, something goes wrong and some are let out but the real threat is some evil thing that lies in the most secure cell. the trouble is that creating lots of monster and making them work would be a challenge, perhaps I should try and stick with one monster for my first try.
THE FOE
set on a mysterious colony, the locals have practice of hunting creatures called the Foe, young men see it as aright of passage to kill these Foe, with a points system based on which kind of Foe they kill. The creatures are made by the colony themselves, you can guess it has themes of creating your own monsters. like with the menagerie it might be an uphill struggle to make all those villagers.
THE WAR GAMERS
Sort of a take on modern drones and E-sports, some future war take place vie remote control soldiers, where the controllers aren't traditional soldiers but gamers. not even sure how this would work gameplay wise.

I need a hook something that sparks interest,
like Dinosaurs on a spaceship or the ones you guys listed.
- something like the god complex is a good example
I also think I might be trying too hard to stay away from cliches.
for example if you find something Earth like in space it turns out to be recreation, like the god complex
or if you find something Alien it often turns out to be a crashed ship, with aliens who got he wrong idea, like The Doctor Dances.

RPGmaker is user friendly, It makes it relatively easy to set up events,items and dialogue.

I support of this project, RPG maker games actually turn out pretty decent if you put effort in. Here's a few ideas I had jotted down - was going to do fanfic, but this is more interesting:

>Futuristic Japan, where people are getting nanobot tattoos - these, of course, are a perfect target for a sentient computer virus
>Astronauts from the Indian Space Program who've been genetically engineered to have multiple arms (because it's useful for handling stuff in zero gravity), then fall through a Time rift to prehistoric India and inspire the myths about multi-limbed Hindu gods
>The Doctor gets locked up in alien prison with some criminals he helped put away, basically Shawshank Redemption in space
>something raises the dead at a secret UNIT and/or Torchwood cemetery where alien corpses are kept, planning to make the ultimate army from a hundred different species
btw, are you planning to use the Capaldi Doctor in this? That could affect what sort of story works well

I liked the episode when the Doctor walked out of the TARDIS and encountered some aliens. Then he baffled them with his quirkiness.
I like Michelle Gomez's Missy/Master but, honestly the character feels like an afterthought of the Matt Smith era (and honestly, I think she and Matt Smith would have worked better off each other, anyway)
Pic is who I'd cast as The Master for the Capaldi era. Between watching Fringe and the 2nd Guy Ritchie Sherlock Holmes movie he's a great villain actor and I just KNOW he and Capaldi would perform brilliantly off each other.
