How do you have time to watch that show? If I remember correctly it goes on for hundreds of episodes each lasting an hour.
>>67630518
Also Hurem's actress gets replaced later with an ugly old hag.

At least the show gets better with less focus on Hurrem and more on princes fighting for the throne
>>67630631
Turkish shows are all like that. Some even go up to 2 hours an episode. They're literally making a movie every week.
>>67630631
Nah, the show is just four seasons
My commute is 2 hours to and from everyday, that's what
>>67630674
Nooooooo
Why
>>67630806
I am familiar with turkish shows. Many of them have rather high production values aswell. Especially this show.
>>67630845
I can't remember exactyl but I think it had something to do with psychological her issues.
>>67630845
Shit I remeber it being waaaay longer when it aired in my country. It was like 3-4 years back I think.
>>67630871
Rec some good turk shows
I'm actually surprised by it desu
I had no idea it was turkish until I tried to find it so I could watch from the beginning
What do you think pic related? Should i follow his body of work?
>>67630889
She became pregnant I think.

Kek my mom used to watch a soap where this guy played the abusive ex-husband I was a bit surprised when they chose him as sultan suleiman.
>>67630518
this show used to air on tv a couple years ago and it was immensely popular between soccermoms.
>>67630983
In which country?
>>67630518
If you want a comfy turkish drama you hould watch elveda rumeli I'm at episode 28 now and it really has the right amount of humor, sadness and comfieness.
Its about the milkman from a ottoman macedonian village in the late 19th century. This guy has like five daughters which all in some way or another get into trouble and also they show a bit about the political situation in those times which resuted into the balkan wars and large exodus and massacre of all balkan muslims.
>>67630913
Off the top off my head I would say Ezel . It was pretty interesting but later it goes a bit downhill.
>>67631002
serbia. was pretty popular in the whole balkan region if im not mistaken. loads of turkish tv shows air here, but this one was really huge here
>>67631002
Not the same guy but this show was popular as hell in Croatia. I'm talking articles in the actual newspapers. Everybody was watching it. Moms, grandmas, teenage girls.
>>67631096
>>67631100
Kek I would expect it to be boycotted.
>>67630913
If you want something a bit more soap operish then I would suggest Forbidden Love(2008-2010) and I also remeber liking Kuzey Güney.
>>67631150
>serbia
>not removing kebab
I love me some Kdramas.
They really are comfy as fuck.
Especially since my waifu probably watches them too.
Besides America and the UK, what other countries provide television of worth? I had no clue about Turkey.
>>67630983
Kek
I believe it
I was just taken by the costumes and it being about the ottoman empire
>>67631017
Sounds like what I'm looking for thanks
>>67631075
>>67631160
Added thanks
>>67631201
No problem mate
I wish eastern countries did more scifi
>>67631402
That was more of a parody movie though.
>>67631447
Yea but that's what i mean
Sci-fi is rarely explored because dramas are safer to make
>>67631484
But I also think that in general turks make better dramas like lets say americans make the better action movies.
