I hated these stupid kids. You need a grizzled old colonel like Jack O'Neill leading the offworld missions, not some butterbar lieutenant.
Matthew Scott and Chloe were the embodiment of the stupid "edgier, sexier" Stargate they made fun of in the 200th SG-1 episode.
That said, I still liked SGU because of Col. Young and Dr. Rush.

You know the only reason they got so much screentime is because they were the hardest characters to sell. Every other character except for Rush, Young, and Eli (probably because they were the leads) had excellent character development just being on the periphery but those two were just so clunky and unlikeable that they kept going back to the drawing board every week trying to crack the formula that would make them interesting.
