I hatewatched the first season. Nora and Matt's episodes kept me going. The GR are such well done, and by that I mean FUCKING HATABLE villains, that it gets frustrating to watch. But the Season 1 finale -- GOAT Finale 10/10.
Fast forward to last week, finally got around to watching season 2 and Holy Shit, loved just about every episode. Great way to revitalize what coulda been a boring rehash of the first season.
Even Black Family was great, each person got their chance to shine.
I think Lindlelof can do good when he has a writing partner, and with what looks like 15 exec Producers to reign his stupid shit in.

The fucking "Orphan's Well".
The show is always ambiguous whether Kevin's hallucinations are real or not.
But the Well is the one thing that says it's real and that he really is in the honest to god Afterlife.
His hallucinated Orphan's Well is in the same place where that cave-baby was orphaned in the intro to the season.
It provides a direct link between something we know is true and out of the knowledge of the character, and a character who should be totally ignorant of it.
