It was never good to begin with, had a cool premise, "interesting" and well-acted main character, the rest was shit.

People only remember s4 because it had the guts to do something ballsy, but even that was completely wasted and forgotten 2 episodes into s5

Every season was the same.

>Some co-worker at the station has their suspicions about Dexter and is dispatched or misled just in the nick of time
>Dexter meets someone who he believes is the first person in his life to see him for what he truly is and accept him fully even though this happens every fucking season

Only 1, 2, 4, and 5 are worth watching. 5 gets way more hate than it deserves.
