>Also guys, the first action scene needs to look AS MUCH as a video game cinematic as possible. I can't stress this enough. We're talking bad CGI, fast paced camera movements, choreography that ensures deaths ALWAYS happens on screen, and arrows whizzing past Leo at every opportunity. ¡Vamonos!

It was great, fuck off. My only problems were with Leo's writing and acting. Technically it was tight

Are you familiar with the term "Oscarbait"?
This was probably the most visually beautiful movie I've seen in a while. But out of 2015 I still don't know what I prefer
I loved Sicario, very tense and del Toro was great, but visually it was a bit bland
Hateful Eight had a banging soundtrack which was woefully underused and was a visual stunner at points, but it was building up to a crescendo that never happened
Revenant looked amazing, soundtrack, the acting, everything was great. CGI was a bit shit though, I thought it detracted from all the so called natural beauty Inarittu insisted on retaining.
Also the bear did nothing wrong

Stop limiting your viewing pleasures to Academy approved pieces. Expand your horizons.

I already do that, I watched Who Killed Captain Alex the other night, it was very refreshing in fact.
>>67553080
I hope Morricone refuses to do any other of Tarantino's work
>>67553012
it's not a place to go, in that sense. just like how you can't "go" to autism. it's just something you're born with
tom hardy was better in this than leo
