When was the last time you walked out on a movie?
Never, I paid a minimal amount of money to be distracted for 2+ hours and god dammit I'm at least going to sit there and give it a chance.
I'm not stupid with money so never.
Im not autistic so i dont.
>>67535854
You can get your money back if you walk out early enough, champ
>>67535749
>walking out of the wolf of wall street
Add that one to your long line of fuck ups, op.
I've never walked out of a movie
But goddamnit I came close with Funny People. I was on the edge of my seat ready to leave if it didn't get better for like 2 hours. I don't know what made me stay in that seat but I wish I had gotten up. What a shit fucking movie
>>67536021
How early? You'd be stupid to walk out in the first 30 minutes anyway.
I don't think I've ever walked out of a movie, but the last movie I wanted to walk out of was The Zero Theorem. Fuck that movie was shit.
>>67535749
The Force Awakens
>>67535749
I know what movies I want to go see.
So none.
>>67535749
Deadpool. Both the audience and the jokes were so fucking cringeworthy. Left when the sandnigger cab driver asked what the Mama June's snatch smells like.
>>67536209
No, man, some movies you can tell in the first 15 minutes that they have no fucking clue - if I go see a comedy and it doesn't make me laugh for 15 minutes, I'm out of there.
>>67535749
Last one I walked out of was Hitman Agent 47.
I never walk out of movies; I find it insulting to the creators and the time and effort put into the movie. Trust me when I say: These motherfuckers had it coming.
>>67535749
I almost did once
>watching Election in the theater
>be 16
>with this 15 y.o. who I was only dating because I wanted her friend.
>she was super into me
>actively avoiding making out
>tfw "she gets so wet (sob)"
>>67536669
you missed out, Election is a great movie
I fell asleep during the third Hobbit movie. Does that count?
Never. Why would I walk out if I already paid for it?
>>67535749
Transformers 2.
Friend worked at the theater so I saw it for free but I left after about thirty minutes.
I never walk out of movies. I just take the opportunity to get a nap.
>>67536285
What's up with this movie dialogue? Sounds like a fucking kids movie, I expect the dialogue to be on par with Marvel capeshit
Only plebs walk out of the theatre.
I walked out of Live Free or Die Hard because the qt I was with wanted to leave early for the fireworks. It was a really poorly planned day, but it worked out in the end.
>>67536546
>if I go see a comedy and it doesn't make me laugh for 15 minutes,
>people laughing in the middle of a movie theatre
I never understood this. Are things so fucking funny to you that you just have to bust out and make noise in the middle of a place where you're supposed to keep quiet? Is the dialog really that funny or are you so weak willed you can't even keep control of your emotions? And 15 minutes, seriously? That's how little time it takes for you to lose control of all civility and respect and just start cackling like a fucking ape?
Another thing is doing that single/double clap thing when something "funny" happens. Is it just an american thing?
>>67536819
only plebs go to theatre. patricians go to kinemá.
like 8 people walked out during the BBC scene from the h8t3ful 8
>There are peopleAmericansthat actually try to demand refunds from the cinema for seeing a bad film
How entitled can you possibly be?
This absolute piece of trash
I walked out of the 2nd purge. Although the 1st ones ending was complete garbage, I enjoyed the original concept and the despair throughout 95% of the movie. The 2nd one was obviously paid out by political figures and Hollywood jews to make all the bad guys rich white people, and all the good guys poor black people. It was political garbage and I walked out when nelson mandalas militia came to save the day.

Americans also demand refunds for food if they didn't like it (even after they already ate the whole thing) or buy entire outfits and wear them for a week, then return them because they don't like the colors.
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
seriously it was super un-entertaining i just could not handle it.
>>67536938
Canadafag here, I was at Cineplex and I don't remember what movie it was but started almost an hour late, people lost their shit and wanted a refund
>>67536904
I don't need to laugh out loud or cackle like an ape you cunt, but if a film is purportedly a comedy - even a comedy of manners, or a subtle comedy, like say "Gosford Park" - and it's not hitting the right notes, why should I hang around? And respect for what? A film made by an incompetent hack?
It takes you longer than 15 minutes to tell whether a director and writer know what they're doing? Or whether the actors have an understanding of the material?
I'm not American, by the way, and I don't clap when something funny happens.
>>67536904
Laughing with the audience is one of the experiences you get by going to the cinema. The whole idea of watching things publicly is the collective experience.
>>67536904
I'm sure Billy Wilder would have loved people to sit in quiet contemplation while watching Some Like It Hot.
I only see movies with people, which means I can't walk out. I've also never seen a movie that bad. All the movies I've seen at the cinema have been entertaining on some level.
I watch movies differently to /tv/ though. I try to see the good, rather than the bad.
>>67536749
Why waste time in addition to the money?
>>67537520
Why pay to see something you don't know if you'll like?
this, about when the girl gets a boat lift for being a gorl.
>>67535749
Batman v. Superman, a few days ago.
I was Halfway through The American and I realized it wasn't going to get any better so I bounced.
>>67540004
dodged a bullet
>>67535820
This.
Plus, you can dump your drink and popcorn on the floor at the end of the movie if it's too shitty.
