Oh what a good argument, god forbid a superhero movie is serious or changes the characters tone for a different adaptation. Its people like you that say " Superhero movies are suppose to be fun". Superhero movies aren't SUPPOSE to be anything, they don't instantly have to meet a style or standard just because they are superhero movies. There are darker and lighter takes on both batman and superman in source material. Partly why BvS is doing so bad is expectation. So because he didn't carbon copy the cartoon its a bad way to introduce them? In the comic books there a plenty of adaptations that introduce them very similarly to how Snyder did. BvS mistake is trying to shove the entire justice league introduction into one movie while also developing side characters and relationships. They went all in instead of slow and steady like Marvel, thee style and representation of characters is no bad.
