It's been a while since I watched it but I remember there was too much over the top edgy anime tier bullshit for my liking, it got ridiculous at some points. The story was too much tell instead of show, even the most obvious of plot points were explained through the characters dialog. Some of the kid actors sucked too. Not a bad film but not close the best japanese film in recent years.
