It's obnoxious. Imagine being a celebrity and wherever you go some shitfucker harasses you for photos. When I used to smoke, people would harass me for cigarettes periodically, which got real obnoxious. I can't imagine how pissed I would be if it were happening wherever I went. That's why I generally discard any stories of celebrities being jerks when asked for a picture. They can be genuinely bad people and obnoxious to work with often, I'm sure, but I don't think that this sort of thing qualifies anybody as an asshole.
