I think Spider-Man 3 is actually full of stellar moments, they just don't flow as well together as the previous two movies and are broken up by a lot of admittedly weak development (Marko killing Ben was a hackneyed retcon, Venom on the whole was disappointing, Magic Butler revealing he's known the truth about Norman for years, Gwen was entirely pointless, MJ was a bitch, MJ singing--it's certainly flawed as fuck).
The birth of Sandman, both of the Peter vs. Harry fights, Harry "So Good" Osborn achieving maximum ham in the diner scene, the Spider-Man/Sandman subway fight, Bad Peter being a goofy goober, Bad Peter being a dick, Jameson continuing to be the most based character in capeshit, and the final Peter and Harry bro-op at the end were all excellent and had me thoroughly entertained.
