I hated it for the longest time until I made the mistake of watching all the direct-to-video sequels.
Now I can kind of appreciate 3 as the so-bad-it's-funny one of the original 4 movies. At least it's tied to Hellraiser in some way, unlike everything from 5 on where they just dug up generic horror scripts and wrote in one or two Pinhead cameos.

It really is. As far as I can remember they through the whole movie together in a few weeks on super small budget.
