What should I see at the theater today, lads? My options are pic related, 45 Years, and Only Yesterday.

>Only Yesterday
what's that?
I recommend Knight of Cups.

It's some Spirited Away-esque anime from 1991 that they must've rereleased for some reason.
knight of cups is easily his best work to date
the only thing that could top it is voyage of time

>Only Yesterday
Based Malick.
>45 Years
Old people problems.
>Only Yesterday
Weabooshit.
Why is this even a question?

But all the reviews said Knight was bad. It's what I was leaning towards anyways though.

Not all of them.

But who gives a shit, his other movies get mixed reviews too, it's always worth going to see and deciding for yourself
Knight of Cups would be cool on the big screen. If you like Malick, definitely go with that one.
Only Yesterday is comfy, but there really isn't much else to it.
Haven't heard anything about 45 Years.

I didn't see that Brody review. I usually like what he recommends. I used to exclusively take the "go and see for yourself" angle. Lately I feel like a sucker if I pay $10 to watch garbage for three hours.

>easily his best work to date
that's a stretch.

I mean, you could always watch it online. Usually with a director I really like, I go ahead and pay for the ticket to support him. But if you're worried about it, watch it online and then buy the Blu Ray if you like it
>>67242791
um yea, just dont go. its better
>>67242908
Stop paying attention to people who are paid for having meme opinions and just go and watch it.

I love Terrance Malick, Badlands is one of my favorite movies of all time. With that said, Knight of Cups is a 90 minute cologne commercial.
>>67243473
you again

It's brilliant, Brody nails it, just see it.
