Why do people hate Miles Teller? I've only ever seen in was his cameo in Project X and in Divergent & Insurgent and he was the best thing in those God awful movies and I hear he was good in Whiplash.
>>
I really enjoy his brand

>cameo in Project X

What the fuck are you talking about, he played some star athlete.
>>
>>67240009

He's a smug up his own ass cunt with a face like a bulldog dipped in fire ants.
>>
Whiplash was good. He was good in that.
>>
>>67240009

He comes off as kind of a self-important dipshit as a person.

And he'd never seen Star Wars before deciding to audition for the role of Han Solo.

What is this new meme?

The arrogance is amazing

>star in biggest flop of the year
>doesn't even know the character

Yeah, you're a shoe in...

it this even professional?
>>

If he didn't see it, fine, whatevdr...But to admit it?

Disney wants nerd cred, they want an actor who says "I've always loved the character and can't wait to play him blah blah blah" not "I want a huge paycheck"
>>
There was that profile interview of him where he came off as an incredibly unlikable fratboy chad.

Although the exact same thing happened with Max Landis and he got a new haircut and some retarded suits and manged to sell himself to sjws so Teller could always turn it around.
>>
>>67240009
his too babyfaced

can't take him seriously

Well Harrison Ford openly despises Star Wars, maybe he's going for the same 2cool4school attitude

http://www.esquire.com/entertainment/movies/interviews/a36894/miles-teller-interview-0915/

this interview is fucking hysterical
>He says he wants to contribute to the body of great acting in the world, to the...shit, he can't find the term—cache? catalog? canon?
>Whatever, you know what he means. He thinks he has something to offer.
>>
>>67240269
Harrison Ford gets a pass because he presumably saw Star Wars at some point
>>
>>67240269

Harrison Ford actually is 2cool tho
>>
Punchable face

>Then there are the scars—on his chin, his left cheek, incising his neck. He was in an accident in 2007, flung thirty feet from a speeding car on the way home from a jam-band festival.
>He says the scars are why he doesn't have friends from college.

CRAWLIIIIING IIIIIIN MY SKIIIIIN
>>
>>67240009
for one; the image you used looks like he's asleep, not an action hero/genius
>>
>>67240660

Reed Richards isn't an action hero, he's a scientist. At least try to make your criticisms logical.
>>
>>67240679

The only thing Teller pulls off worse than action hero is scientist
>>
>>67240679
reading comprehension anon. He could be playing Hamlet here he would still look like asleep and dead inside over a capeshit poster.
Even Photoshop can not hide his empty soul.

>Then it's back to his oeuvre. Or rather a dissertation on other people's oeuvres and how they might affect the oeuvre of Miles Teller.

>He has clearly spent a lot of time thinking about the careers of other actors. He goes into an animated rant about Leo and Bradley and Jake Gyllenhaal and Vince Vaughn, and how it's almost impossible to win an Academy Award as a man under thirty, and Tom Hanks, and Ryan Gosling, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jeff Bridges, Dustin Hoffman.

>"But if I'm really homing in on the dramatic performance right now, it's probably Christian Bale or it's Joaq."

Joaq lmao
>>
>>67240083
The character was bland.

They could have hired ANYONE else and people would have said it was great.

Because the movie was all about JK Simmons, and his talent made him look good just by association.
