And why the hell is this book so obsessed with jews? There weren't any jews worth mentioning in the whole of Arabia in the 7th century.
What muslims call islam probably oringinated in and around Jerusalem in the early 600's, where it developed out of some form of christian influenced (bull worshipping) cult.
For what other reason would the oldest standing mosque - the "Dome of the Rock" be constructed in the form of a christian byzantine temple?
Later this whole superstition was refined by a warlord named Abd Allah ibn al-Zubayr, who wanted legitimisation to fight the Umayyads in the 680's.
He took the writings of different authors, invented the figure of mohammed, mixed in the cult pratices of Jerusalem-christian churches and voilà:
He got a religion that provided him the devine mandate to rule over the Umayyad Caliphate in Palestine.
Shortly after Al Zubayr got killed, but somehow the cult he created survived.
To fill in the historic vacuum islam later got its foundation myth, placing it's origin far, far away from Jerusalem in the arabian desert.
This was done by the early muslims to distinguish themselves from christians/jews and to make up some claim of authenticity.
The alleged author "muhammed" who's name means "praiseworthy", does not show up anywhere before 680, when it was first minted on Jerusalem coins.
Also there is no proof of anyone ever bearing that name during preislamic times.
That means the name was invented for the quran, making the historic existence of this so called prophet very unlikely.
The awful book itself, the quran, was written much later in the 700's, in what is today Iraq and even then it mentions the name "Muhammed" only 4 times.
