I'm over 30yo. It took me literally this long to catch up. I don't watch shit movies either. Just stuff I like. If I start watching something that turns out to be shit, I stop watching it and move on. Back in the days of renting my friends and I would rent about 30 movies a week, plus watch whatever was on satellite. As soon as internet came through my area and I started torrenting it was a non-stop movie marathon for years.
Now I'm living show to show, movie to movie and let me tell you, it fucking sucks waiting. I implore you to pace yourself.

It's not just with movies/tv shows. I have the same problem but also with video games, porn, books, art, anime, etc. My backlogs for all these things in total would be several thousand. I'm at the point where I get more satisfaction adding/editing my various lists.
