someone told me this show was based operatorcore
I'm like 75% of the way through season 1 and bored as hell
its like a boring clancy-tier exposition of anti-terror politics, fake gadgets, and plot twists you can predict episodes in advance
I was expecting Black Hawk Down + House of Cards but its shitty cop procedural + post-sorkin west wing
should I push through/does it get better

For me the real 24 aka Jack Bauer Power Hour starts at season 2, the first season is more of an espionage thriller. So I would suggest you continue, unless you dislike the entire concept of the show.
