A lot of 80s cartoons were dark as shit. Was a great time to be a kid because it was the pinnacle of animation, saturday morning stuff, etc. There was just so god damn much of it. I remember as a kid having to switch between like 3 different channels because you just couldn't watch it all & there was no way to later on. After that it went down fast.
