When Lynch dies will you cry?
>>67084429
It will be extremely painful.
i'll take an extra huff.
>>67084467
You are a big gay!
I would feel very confused
How come all the great directors of the 80/90s have not made a single masterpiece for the last 15 years?
>spent happy life
>made movie history
>inspired thousands of people
>head of the boyscouts, met JFK
>has four children
why should I cry?

brain rot accelerates after the age of 60
>>67084429
>implying David Lynch hasn't made a deal with Satan to live forever
>>67084429
no, I cried when he devoted the last 10 years to making gay as fuck dance music instead of making film.
Don't even wanna think about it. Saw an interview recently where you could tell he was actually OLD and his mind wasn't as sharp as it once was. I closed the tab and thought about that shit for days.
It's less traumatic losing your grandparents at an early age but I really think everyone should have at least one that lives long so they can learn how to deal with aging and senility. All the old people I knew were dead before I was 10 and getting old terrifies me.
No, because in heaven, everything is fine.
His glorious hair will live on, I'm sure
> getting upset about the death of someone you've never met, you dont know and he doesnt know you even exist.
literal autism
>>67084429
He cucked Scorsese, both artistically and Rossellini
>>67084798
Interview Source?
I have lost the ability to cry over the years
Might sound edgy to you, I dont care, but I literally cant cry anymore, no matter what happens to me
>>67084862
It's autistic to not care. Normies are retards about this shit.
Not sad but goddamn am I preparing myself for anger:
Imagine all of the bullshit "mourning" posts. Imagine the "Honorary Oscar" and the shout outs from Hollywood and his place in the Oscar mourning slideshow. All the "great artists are all taken too soon!" shit and the "if only he could have given us more!" when the man has literally been sitting on his ass making shitty synthpop for the last decade because he can't secure funding for a film...
I haven't cried since I was 13 and daddy left us, so probably no

I feel closer to some dead novelists of the early XX century than to some of my actual friends.
Doesnt mean shit.
How do I get my hair like lynch
>>67084982
this guy right here gets whats up
>>67084798
I watched the interview with him and Naomi Watts where they talked about Mulholland Dr, and he definitely seemed slow, and had difficulty remembering things. He was still articulate, but it was a little sad.
Getting old has to suck
>>67084982
his music is awesome, and the videos are pure gold.
I would rather see him make movies though
I'm just hoping he can get through the 3rd season of twin peaks and that it will popular enough to fund one last insane movie that kills him.

JOOOORAAAANNDOOOOOOO
> tfw you have the ideas to be like Lynch but not the ability
Maybe not cry, but I'll spend time thinking about his achievements and re-watch my favorite films and tv by him.
He's one of my top 5 directors, but he's more than that, a truly well rounded artists and an important figure in American arts in general.
I'll pour out a little coffee for the homie
>>67086049
Trust me anon, you have neither.
Just the fact that you think that you "have the ideas to be like Lynch" when the entire point is he is a truly authentic and original artist tells anyone with half a brain that you're hack.
>>67085040
I think he's still pretty sharp desu, he's just slowed down a bit cuz, y'know he's 70
>>67086049
> tfw you have the ideas to be like Lynch but not the ability
> pic related
> then you hear your boss yelling at you to get back to work

You faggots will see.
YOU'LL ALL SEE.
is there seriously a better hairstyle?
if there is, post it
>>67084656
>tfw Brian De Palma and John Carpenter
IT WONT STOP HURTING
why are you guys worried about him getting old and senile?
senile david lynch will transcend anything sad into something beautiful
