Bollywood is mostly shit. But I've seen a few good films. One about 2 slumgangsters that meet Ghandi, and that Akbar the Great film, which was cinematographically beautiful.
Otherwise, it's 800 fucking films spanning 3 decades all about this fucker. There must be some clause in the Indian Constitution that Shahrukh Khan must appear in all films because there's no other explanation.

Like Hollywood but to a much worse degree Indian films are driven solely by money. There are 26 languages in India. So films are made with stupidly simple storylines and song and dance. All the good films are regional language movies. And of course some of the indie works.

Actually it wasn't all love for that movie over there. I think some hated it probably due to butthurt from it sort of portraying their country as a designated shithole.
